The Wheat Ridge Fire Protection District responded to 228 calls for service in August with an average response time of 3:56 minutes. August's 228 calls represent a <1% increase in service requests as compared to the previous month. Year-to-Date, our average response time is 4:03; the national average for fire departments is six minutes.
The annual and monthly response time is reflective of the District’s commitment to adhering to our Mission Statement: Doing the Right Things at the right times for the right reasons.
