Station Tours

Groups of 20 or less can schedule a station tour with the Wheat Ridge Fire Department. Station tours typically include a tour of the facilities, a look inside a fire engine, an introduction to some of the tools firefighters use to fight a fire, and a demonstration of firefighter gear and how it is used. In addition, a station tour can focus on a fire prevention and safety topic tailored for your organization or age group.

Station tours are best held between 8am and 5pm Monday through Friday, however other times and weekends may be accommodated if requested. Please keep in mind that the firefighters providing your tour are on duty and will have to leave quickly in the event of an emergency. Another tour may be scheduled in the event that this occurs.

Please schedule your tour at least a week in advance with the Division of Fire Prevention by using the Education Request Form link and following the instruction on the form.
